Pleasantly surprised by how long the candle burns between each number date. It also burns through the candle sides as it goes down, without leaving 'wax walls' around the middle. Planning to buy it again next year.

I have to echo previous reviews and say that this leaves filth all over the place. Fortunately we ran it with the hall door closed in the evening but it has made a mess of the living room decor, painter called in at a cost of £280, curtains, can't wash at this time of year as need to line dry so having to buy another pair in the meantime, Pictures had to be cleaned up, settee cushions had to be washed but has left rime in the sofa even after vacuuming, cushions, lampshade, even permeated the kitchen and couldn't believe that it had even gone into the fridge, which I found out when I took the door shelves out to wash. This has never happened with those that we've had in previous years, so I am wondering whether sub standard wax has been used. It has burnt like animal tallow. Never again. Dearest candle we've ever had. Irony is that I make our own scented candles from soy wax.

This is one of the best advent candles I have ever had, and recommend it. I’m almost half way down and it hasn’t dripped once yet. It’s also quite stout so stands up very well. It does take a couple of hours to burn each day, but that’s nothing excessive.
