My wife loves good fiction, and always has a book at hand, so when I discovered this Bookshop candle from Suffolk Candles it was an immediate purchase. The candle smells great, and definitely competes with the more expensive brands you see. You can tell there has been a lot of thought put into the design and story behind it, and happy to say it makes a great gift. I was expecting this to smell like the standard ginger bread candles that I've bought over the years , but this didn't smell like a a candle at all, it literally smells like there is a real gingerbread cooking in the oven it made me hungry lol 😆 the candle burns properly not leaving any wax up sides, it lasts a decent time , the smell reaches a large radius of my home, even when it's not burning I can still get gentle whiffs here and there. I love it alot and plan to buy more. Also grade AAA+ seller. P.s this is the second candle purchased and both exceeded my expectations!!

I bought this thinking oooh great it will smell fresh and that rich earthy smell you get in fresh rain. So it arrived in a very nice tin and I immediately put the kettle on lit the candle sat back and waited for the scent to fill the room. Well I couldn't smell it I left it for 2 hours door shut windows shut watching tv and I still couldn't smell it only faint. I feel completely deflated. I wont be buying again I expected.more for such a price.

Gorgeous smelling candle, burns really well and for a really long time too. This candle looks really good, is sleek and fits well on my window sill. The lid makes storing it really easy. This was really well packaged, alot of thought has clearly gone into this and it's excellent value for money. I will be buying more of these for my friends as Christmas presents.
